I've had an interest in bossa nova for nearly a decade. Although the tropical climate it was conceived in is a far cry from the cool, temperate climate of the Pacific Northwest, I believe the rhythm of life in the urban PNW is a perfect match to its swaying style and melancholic air.
To that end, here is a cover of the bossa nova standard Corcovado, set to footage of two teenagers taking in the Seattle Center at the 1962 World's Fair.
